May is Mental Health Awareness Month: Small Steps Toward Stronger Well-Being
On April 23rd, members of the Community Health Alliance team gathered for an evening that highlighted the very best of our field—dedication, compassion, and a shared commitment to strengthening mental health and recovery services across our community.
This Easter season, the Paragon Optimist Club continued its tradition of giving, partnering with Sojourner for the 11th year to deliver Easter baskets to children who might not otherwise receive one, as well as youth in residential programs. March is Social Work Awareness Month, and at Community Health Alliance we’re proud to recognize the several dozen social workers serving across our organization, including Sojourner Recovery Services and the Transitional Living (TLC).
Each month, we step beyond the walls of the clinic and into the community to connect with individuals facing hardship, isolation, or uncertainty about what comes next.
February’s theme highlights Black History Month and the importance of heart health. This month is a great time to honor the contributions of Black leaders in medicine and wellness while also focusing on habits that strengthen and protect your heart.
