On Saturday, September 27, 2025, Community Health Alliance (CHA) proudly joined the City of Middletown Health Department and a coalition of partners for the What the Health? & Wellness Resource Fair at The Event Center of Middletown. Advertised as “a day of health, wellness, and family fun,” the fair welcomed neighbors, families, and individuals from across the community to connect with free health services and resources. The event was made possible through the partnership of the Safety Council of Southwest Ohio, Middletown Connect, Butler County Public Health, Hospice Care of Middletown, and the City of Hamilton Health Department. Together, the organizations created a welcoming space where health truly felt accessible to everyone.
No appointments were required and there was no cost to attend—just an open invitation to step inside, ask questions, and take advantage of the many services provided. Attendees participated in free medical biometric screenings, child physicals, vaccinations, adult health education sessions, a hands-on “Stop the Bleed” demonstration, and educational health seminars. Local service providers also hosted booths to share resources and guidance on a wide range of wellness and recovery needs, ensuring that people walked away with both knowledge and support.
Community Health Alliance’s Perinatal Prevention Specialist, Allivia Clement, and Perinatal Case Manager, Francesca (Nikki) Sams, represented the organization at the fair. Together, they provided outreach to approximately 50 community members and 20 community partners and agencies, raising awareness of CHA’s services and offering education specifically on perinatal support and resources. As Allivia shared, “This fair gave us the chance to connect not only with families, but also with other agencies. We were able to highlight the perinatal services CHA provides while building relationships that will strengthen our community’s support network.”
For CHA, the event was more than just a health fair—it was an opportunity to stand alongside partners and neighbors, helping reduce barriers to care, supporting new and expectant parents, and reinforcing Middletown’s circle of support.
