Community Health Alliance is celebrating another successful United Way Campaign, highlighting the power of collective giving and the difference it makes for families throughout Butler County. This year’s campaign is led by Rebecca Dickersheid, whose energy and dedication unite staff around a shared purpose.
“I’m proud to be spearheading our United Way campaign because I believe deeply in the power of community—neighbors helping neighbors and lifting one another up,” Rebecca says. “Every day, I see firsthand how even small acts of generosity can create meaningful change for the people we serve. United Way embodies that same spirit of collaboration and compassion, and I want our organization to be an active part of that impact. My hope for this campaign is not only to raise funds, but to strengthen our sense of shared purpose. At the end of the day, it’s not just about giving; it’s about believing that when we all give a little, we make a big difference.”
Throughout the campaign, CHA spotlights its Perinatal Team, whose work reflects the heart of CHA’s mission. The team provides compassionate care and support to mothers in recovery as they prepare to welcome new life. Thanks to donations made through the campaign, the Perinatal program continues offering essential baby care items, clothing, and comfort supplies that ease stress and support healing during those critical early days. Every contribution helps ensure that mothers feel cared for, babies have what they need, and families begin their journey with hope.
Community support through United Way continues to create lasting impact well beyond CHA. Across Butler County, United Way funding makes it possible for thousands of children, teens, and families to access programs that build skills, strengthen families, and promote healthier choices. Together, these efforts strengthen the foundation of our community.
At CHA, the campaign goal is 75% staff participation, and every gift—no matter the amount—moves us closer to that shared vision. Many staff members designate their contributions directly to Sojourner Perinatal Services, ensuring that local mothers and babies remain supported in their recovery journeys.
To make giving fun and meaningful, CHA includes daily raffles, themed goodie baskets, a department pizza party for the highest participation rate, and a grand prize of one free PTO day. These celebrations bring joy, connection, and purpose to the workplace as everyone joins together for a cause that truly matters.
