Katelyn Ratliff, RN, BSN, Perinatal Registered Nurse at Community Health Alliance, recently coordinated the creation and donation of 20 gift baskets for pregnant and postpartum mothers served by Birthright of Eaton. With help from her daughter, Katelyn assembled the baskets using information and giveaway items provided by several Preble County agencies, along with spa-like comfort items purchased to offer mothers an added sense of care during the holiday season. The baskets will be distributed by the staff at Birthright of Eaton to support women who may be experiencing crisis or additional stress during this time of year.
Birthright of Eaton has served women in need for more than 25 years, offering confidential support, free pregnancy testing, prenatal counseling, maternity and infant supplies, and other essential resources that help mothers face the future with dignity and hope.
Community Health Alliance is proud to support this effort and remains committed to providing comprehensive prenatal services, including care for women navigating substance use treatment. CHA offers integrated prenatal care, behavioral health services, dual-diagnosis support, and medication-assisted treatment during pregnancy, ensuring that mothers—regardless of their circumstances—receive compassionate, judgment-free care throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.
Together, organizations like Birthright of Eaton and Community Health Alliance continue to strengthen the network of support available to women, babies, and families across the region.
