On the Road to Care: How CHA’s Branded Vehicles Reach the Community

In News, Community, and Services

When it comes to connecting people to care, sometimes the biggest barrier is simply getting there. At Community Health Alliance (CHA), reliable transportation often makes the difference between someone receiving treatment or going without. That’s why our fleet of branded vehicles is more than cars with logos—they’re mobile lifelines.
If you’ve driven through Hamilton or the surrounding areas, you’ve likely seen one of CHA’s Subarus, Kias, transport vans, and even a Tesla on the road. Each vehicle is now part of a unified fleet design, wrapped with bold, recognizable graphics. The consistent branding makes our presence visible from a distance, communicates clearly who we are, and encourages action through messages displayed on every side. These vehicles are more than moving billboards—they are bridges between our services and the people who need them most.
“The fleet is used daily by our transportation staff, peer support specialists, case managers, and other team members,” Tanya Young, Office Manager at Sojourner Recovery Services noted.  “It reduces the barriers that often keep clients from essential appointments.” They provide rides to medical visits, court hearings, off-site case management meetings, and even child visitation appointments. They also bring potential clients directly into treatment, picking people up from detox centers, shelters, or correctional facilities. “In 2024, just two staff members completed 2,522 runs, often with multiple clients on board,” Tanya added. Each ride represents more than miles driven—it represents access, opportunity, and one less obstacle on the road to recovery.
The vehicles also carry a message that goes beyond transportation. When a CHA car pulls into a neighborhood or a community event, it signals our commitment to being visible, accessible, and supportive. They serve as a reminder that CHA isn’t waiting behind clinic doors but is out in the community, helping people start new chapters. Whether it’s reuniting a family, ensuring someone makes a crucial appointment, or welcoming a new client into treatment, our branded fleet is carrying more than passengers. It’s carrying hope.
