Generous Donation Supporting The Community

In News, Community, Services

This week, Sojourner received a generous donation of 33 turkeys from a group of gentlemen who work together to support local families. Their gift will help ensure that the individuals and families in our programs can enjoy a full holiday meal, something many would not be able to do on their own.

The donation will be shared across our residential and outpatient programs, including services for women and children, and men’s and women’s recovery housing. Having access to a holiday meal may seem simple, but it brings comfort and a sense of normalcy to people working hard to rebuild their lives.

We also appreciated the chance to meet with the group and share more about the work happening at Sojourner and Community Health Alliance. Their interest in learning about our programs helps strengthen community support for individuals in recovery.

We are grateful for this generosity and for the care shown to the people we serve. It serves as a message that when the community comes together for the greater good, the possibilities are endless. Thank you!
