Wellness for Every Family

On January 24th, Dayton Public Schools hosted Family Wellness Day, a free event open to DPS students and families. The day was dedicated to whole-person wellness and featured a wide range of activities, including a free self-care lab, yoga classes, speaker sessions, prizes, giveaways, and more. Sponsored by Charlie Health, the event created a welcoming space for families to learn, engage, and prioritize their well-being together

A High School Conversation on Caring

Katelyn Ratliff, RN, BSN, Perinatal Registered Nurse with Sojourner Recovery Services/Community Health Alliance, visited Talawanda High School in Oxford on Friday the 14th to talk with students about nursing and her experience supporting pregnant and parenting individuals in recovery. She offered an honest look at the heart of the work—showing how nursing is not only a medical profession, but a calling rooted in compassion, patience, and the belief that people can change their lives.
