Celebrating The Month of Thankfulness

In News

Each November, Community Health Alliance honors the dedication and compassion of its employees through its annual Month of Thankfulness. This tradition has become a meaningful way for the organization to recognize the people who carry out its mission every day—those who provide care, support, and hope to individuals and families across the region.

Throughout the month, staff members received weekly surprises, each selected to bring encouragement and appreciation. The month began with a small wellness kit, offering employees a reminder to care for themselves as they care for the community. The following week featured a coffee and tea kit, complete with a Biscoff cookie for a simple moment of comfort during busy days. In week three, team members received a Community Health Alliance–branded tote bag and a granola bar for on-the-go energy—an acknowledgment of the many miles walked in service to others.

To conclude the celebration, the organization delivered its much-loved finale: the famous giant Costco pumpkin pie, a fun and delicious tradition that has become a staff favorite.

While the gifts themselves were modest, the message behind them was significant. The Month of Giving serves as a sincere expression of gratitude for the invaluable work every employee contributes. Community Health Alliance recognizes that its impact is only possible because of the dedication, strength, and compassion of its team members.

The organization’s Month of Giving stands as a reminder—to staff, patients, and the broader community—of how deeply Community Health Alliance values the people who make its mission possible.
