The Race For Life

In News, Community, and Services

On October 4, 2025, Community Health Alliance joined the 1N5 organization and hundreds of others in Mariemont for the annual Warrior Run — a powerful evening dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Over 1,200 runners, walkers, supporters, and volunteers participated in this year’s event. Some came to race, some to enjoy time outdoors, some to experience community, and others to honor a loved one — but all shared a common purpose: to move closer to a world without suicide and toward a community where mental health is supported for everyone.

Because of this collective effort, the Warrior Run raised $150,000 to fund mental health education and suicide prevention programs across Greater Cincinnati schools, workplaces, and community organizations. Every stride taken that night helped strengthen the work of 1N5 and their mission to create lasting change in how we talk about and respond to mental health.

Community Health Alliance was proud to stand alongside 1N5 in this effort. As a local 988 partner, we see every day how critical connection and understanding can be for those in crisis. The spirit of the Warrior Run—one of compassion, courage, and community—reflects the same values that guide our work in providing immediate, life-saving support through the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

It was an evening filled with purpose, hope, and unity—a reminder that when we come together, we make a real difference in the lives of others and in the health of our community.
