Residential Treatment Services

At Community Health Alliance, we know that healing takes more than appointments and prescriptions—it takes stability, safety, and community. That’s why we offer supportive living options designed to help people build or rebuild their lives in environments that encourage recovery, independence, and dignity.

Our residential programs offer 24/7 care and a supportive, healing environment for individuals facing serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions. These programs are designed to promote stability, build skills, and support each person’s transition toward greater independence and long-term wellness.

With embedded access to outpatient services, peer support, and medical care, we help individuals build the tools and confidence they need to take the next step toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

What It Can Look Like

Structured group home and apartment settings for individuals with significant mental health needs.
Residents receive round-the-clock support, daily living skills training, and access to outpatient therapy and medical care.

Safe, sober living environments for individuals in recovery from substance use.
Residents follow a structured routine, engage in outpatient treatment, and receive support from peer mentors and staff.

Specialized recovery housing that allows pregnant or parenting women to receive treatment while living with their children. Services include parenting support and access to programs like MAMAs Program.

Through Sojourner Recovery Services, the MAMAs program is designed to support pregnant and parenting women through compassionate, parent-centered care. It offers gender-responsive substance use treatment, childcare during both residential and outpatient services, and recovery housing for mothers and their children. Additional services include parenting support, education on substance use during pregnancy, case management, and coordination with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, wraparound care.

Many homes include 24/7 staff presence, helping with crisis response, medication reminders, or just someone to talk to. This stability helps residents focus on building healthy routines.

Residents are connected to the full range of CHA services—including therapy, primary care, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and peer support.

Discharge planning begins on the first day of services – helping you build a plan from the very beginning—whether it’s independent housing, supportive services, or reuniting with family.

We offer supportive living services across multiple locations throughout the region—including referral-based residential treatment and recovery housing facilities. For a comprehensive map of all our locations, please refer to our Locations page.

Our Providers Can Help With

If you share that you’re couch surfing, staying in a shelter, or facing eviction, we’ll explore supportive housing options that offer stability and wraparound care.

If your current environment is full of stress, substance use, or conflict, we can help you transition into a space focused on support, accountability, and safety.

If managing appointments, hygiene, chores, or routines feels overwhelming, we’ll help you with daily living skills and structure.

If you’re returning to the community after a psychiatric stay or residential recovery program, we’ll help you continue healing in a place that supports your progress—not sets you back.

If you’re a parent trying to stay in recovery or care for your mental health while raising children, we offer options that allow you to do both in Sojourner’s perinatal / MAMA’s program.

Whether you need a roommate who “gets it,” a staff member to help with meds, or a peer to talk to after a hard day, our supportive living programs provide that circle of care.
